In light of COVID-19, all VCDS auditions will be held online this year. To audition for Ride the Cyclone, record a video of yourself performing by Wednesday, October 7th at midnight. All video auditions must be sent to Maliha and Jeff at email@example.com as an MP4 file.
Please prepare two songs (each 1-2 minutes in length) from the contemporary Broadway musical theatre canon that best showcase your vocal range and performance ability. No monologue preparation is required for the first round of auditions. You may either sing acapella or with an instrumental track. In the video, you must state your name, pronouns if you would like, and which songs you will be performing. Please also fill out this Google Form.
If you are unable to record a video of yourself performing, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for alternative options.
Please note that VCDS is dedicated to creating a safe working environment for all actors and crew members in light of COVID-19 and we will be taking necessary precautions to ensure that happens throughout the entire production process.
